Blake Shelton To 'DO AC' With Free Concert On The Free Beach In Atlantic City!

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., April 10, 2014  -- The Atlantic City Alliance, Live Nation and DO AC announced today that one of music's biggest stars – BLAKE SHELTON – will be performing a free concert on the free beach in Atlantic City, NJ on Thursday, July 31st. This event is presented by ACA and DO AC and produced by Live Nation.

Blake Shelton fresh off of his co-hosting duties from this past Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards, Grammy nominee and Country Music Awards' (CMA) reigning "Male Vocalist of the year" for the 4th consecutive year, made history with the most consecutive No. 1's on the country airplay charts with his current single, "Doin' What She Likes," marking his 16th No. 1 overall (11th consecutive). He also holds the "Album of the Year" award from the 2013 CMA's for his current platinum-selling release Based On a True Story. Fans can see Blake on the Emmy Award-winning musical show, The Voice on NBC and can catch him this summer on his "Ten Times Crazier" tour, sponsored by Pepsi.
Shelton's appearance is part of a summer-long musical "DO AC" celebration of Atlantic City's world famous Boardwalk that includes free entertainment daily and one of the country's largest July 4th fireworks show. Last summer, Jimmy Buffet headlined a free concert on Atlantic City's free beach to open Margaritaville at Resorts. His concert drew 50,000 people to Atlantic City.
